Pandemie covidu-19 postavila celý svět před situaci, ve které se dříve nikdy neocitl. Globalizovaný svět umožnil šíření nemoci po celé planetě, proto se všichni uchýlili do svých domovů, kde trávili veškerý čas, aby zabránili rychlému šíření nemoci a zbytečným úmrtím. Lockdown ovlivnil určitým způsobem čas každého, a to i čas dospívajících dívek. Ty často přišly o své koníčky a hledaly nové způsoby zábavy; jedním z nich se staly také sociální sítě. Tato práce si kladla za cíl pochopit a rozklíčovat vztah mezi intenzivním užíváním sociálních sítí v době pandemie a sebepojetím z pohledu dospívajících dívek, protože předešlé studie potvrdily, že se čas na sociálních sítích v tomto období u dospívajících zvýšil a měl na ně také vliv. Pro výzkum byly vybrány dvě vizuální sociální sítě Instagram a TikTok, které byly dokonce respondentkami potvrzeny jako jejich nejpoužívanější. K výzkumu byl využit kvalitativní výzkum, konkrétně tedy polostrukturovaný rozhovor, který napomohl k zajímavým zjištěním. Výzkumu se zúčastnilo celkem 15 dívek. Kromě potvrzení předešlých studií rozšířily výsledky zjištění o fakt, že hranice mezi inspirací, kterou dívky na sociálních sítích vyhledávají, a frustrací z jejího nedosažení je mnohem tenčí u dívek mladších 20 let než u těch starších. Tyto dívky nemají ještě tolik... The covid-19 pandemic has confronted the world with a situation it has never faced before. A globalised world has allowed the disease to spread across the planet, so entire populations have retreated to their homes where they spend all their time to prevent the rapid spread of the disease and unnecessary deaths. Lockdown affected everyone in some way, even adolescent girls. They often lost their hobbies and looked for new ways of entertainment, which is what social media have become. This research aimed to understand and disentangle the relationship between heavy social media use during the pandemic and self-concept from the perspective of adolescent girls, as previous studies have confirmed that time on social media increased during this perios for adolescents and also had an impact on them. Two visual social networks, Instagram and TikTok, were chosen for the research and were even confirmed by the respondents as their most used. Qualitative research, specifically semi-structured interviews, was used for the research and helped to produce interesting findings. A total of 15 girls participated in the research.
