Diplomová práce se zabývá zdravotní gramotností žáků 2. stupně základního vzdělávání a jejím vlivem na jejich životní styl. Cílem práce bylo zjistit úroveň zdravotní gramotnosti žáků, jaký životní styl vedou a zda jejich znalosti a dovednosti v oblasti zdraví ovlivňují jejich životní styl. Diplomová práce má dvě části, teoretickou a praktickou. Obsahem teoretické části jsou kapitoly týkající se zdraví, zdravotní gramotnosti a jejím modelům, ovlivňujícím faktorům a životního stylu. Dále teoretická část zpracovává vývojová specifika žáků 2. stupně základního vzdělávání. V praktické části je uvedena stručná charakteristika školy, na které byl výzkum realizován. Šetření bylo realizováno kvantitativním výzkumem - metodou dotazníkového šetření a kvalitativním výzkumem - rozhovory s žáky. Výzkumu se zúčastnilo 67 žáků ve věku 11-15 let. Žáci prokázali velmi dobrou úroveň teoretických znalostí v oblasti zdraví. Výsledky šetření odhalily, že aplikace těchto vědomostí do reálného života u některých žáků není ideální, přesto je snaha a úsilí o zlepšení jejich životního stylu znatelná. The diploma thesis deals with the students' health literacy of the 6th to 9th grade students of the elementary school and its influence on their lifestyle. The goal of the thesis was to determine the level of health literacy of students, their lifestyle and whether their knowledge and skills of health area affect their lifestyle. The diploma thesis has two parts, theoretical and practical. The content of the theoretical part includes chapters related to health, health literacy and its models, influencing factors and lifestyle. Furthermore, the theoretical part deals with the developmental specifics of the 6th to 9th grades students. The practical part includes a short description of the school where the research was implemented. The investigation was carried out using quantitative research - questionnaire survey method and qualitative research - interviews with students. There were 67 participants aged between 11 and 15. Students demonstrated a very good level of theoretical knowledge in health literacy. The results of the research showed that the transfer of this knowledge to the real life is not ideal for some students, yet there is considerable effort to improve their lifestyle.
