Práce se zabývá procesem kochleární implantace od diagnostikování sluchové vady po nastavování zvukového procesoru a rehabilitaci sluchu. V teoretické části je pozornost věnována definování tématu sluchového postižení, jsou zde zmíněny komunikační prostředky, které je možné zvolit pro komunikaci s dítětem se sluchovým postižením, a najdeme zde i popis vývoje mluvené řeči u těchto dětí. Následně je pozornost věnována systému péče o tyto děti a nakonec je zde popsán kochleární implantát i celý proces kochleární implantace. Empirická část je založena na rozhovorech s matkami dětí s těžkou sluchovou vadou, které podstoupily kochleární implantaci, a zaměřuje se především na informovanost rodičů o celém procesu, o navázání komunikace s dítětem již před implantací a o průběhu následné rehabilitace sluchu. Práce má za cíl poukázat na potřebu včasné diagnostiky sluchové vady, její správné kompenzace, navázání komunikace pomocí smyslově přístupného komunikačního prostředku a důležitost dlouhodobé spolupráce při nastavování zvukového procesoru a následné rehabilitaci sluchu. Dalším cílem je připravit materiál, který rodičům rychle a jednoduše podá základní informace o sluchovém postižení, o možnostech jeho kompenzace a o dalších důsledcích, které ze sluchového postižení mohou vyplývat. Zároveň zde rodiče... The thesis deals with the process of cochlear implantation from diagnosis of hearing impairment to sound processor setup and hearing rehabilitation. In the theoretical part, attention is paid to defining the topic of hearing impairment, there are mentioned means of communication that can be chosen for communication with a child with hearing impairment, and we find a description of the development of spoken language in these children. Subsequently, attention is paid to the system of care for these children and finally the cochlear implant and the whole process of cochlear implantation is described here. The empirical part is based on interviews with mothers of children with severe hearing impairment who underwent cochlear implantation, and focuses primarily on informing parents about the whole process, establishing communication with the child before implantation and the course of subsequent hearing rehabilitation. The work aims to point out the need for early diagnosis of hearing loss, its correct compensation, establishing contact using a sensory accessible means of communication and the importance of long-term cooperation in setting up a sound processor and subsequent hearing rehabilitation.
