Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá podporou osob s mentálním postižením žijících na území domažlického okresu (Plzeňský kraj). Práce se skládá z teoretické a empirické části. Teoretická část je rešerší odborné literatury a obsahuje základní informace týkající se života osob s mentálním postižením. Kapitola první vymezuje základní pojmy týkající se mentálního postižení a charakterizuje osoby s mentálním postižením. Kapitola druhá se zabývá vzděláváním osob s mentálním postižením, podkapitoly se věnují předškolnímu, základnímu a střednímu vzdělávání. Po ní následuje kapitola třetí zaměřená na zaměstnávání osob s mentálním postižením. Zde je pozornost věnována právu na zaměstnání a jeho významu, dále se zde nachází konkrétní možnosti podpory osob s mentálním postižením na trhu práce. Poslední kapitola přináší informace týkající se neziskových organizací a dobrovolnictví, jelikož mají tyto oblasti v životě osob s mentálním postižením velké zastoupení. Hlavním cílem empirické části práce je vytvoření uceleného přehledu týkajícího se poskytovaných sociálních služeb a možností vzdělávání a zaměstnávání osob s mentálním postižením na území okresu Domažlice. Práce využívá kvalitativní výzkum, výzkumnou metodou je analýza internetových dokumentů konkrétních organizací a zařízení. Zpracovaný přehled... This Bachelor thesis is focused on the support of people with intellectual disability living in the area of Domažlice district (Pilsen Region). The thesis consists of a theoretical and an empirical part. The theoretical part is research of specialized literature and it contains fundamental information about the life of people with intellectual disability. The first chapter defines essential terms concerning intellectual disability and it characterizes people with this disability. The second chapter is focused on the education of people with intellectual handicap and it is divided into subchapters, concerning preschool, primary and secondary education. Then follows the third chapter with attention to the employment of people with intellectual disability. It is mainly focused on the right to employment and its importance. This chapter also contains specific options of the support for people with intellectual disability in the labour market. The last chapter includes information concerning non-profit organizations and volunteering, because these are very important aspects in lives of people with intellectual handicap.
