Bakalářská práce se skládá z překladu německého textu do češtiny a odborného komentáře. Překládaný text se sestává ze tří kapitol z knihy Digital detox: Wie Sie entspannt mit Handy & Co. leben, jejíž autorkou je Daniela Otto, která se tematikou digitálního detoxu dlouhodobě zabývá. Součástí druhé části práce, odborného komentáře, je překladatelská analýza, typologie překladatelských problémů, překladatelské posuny a také zvolená metoda překladu.
