Diplomová práce se zabývá vztahem emoční inteligence a rodinného výchovného stylu u jedinců ve věku 18-25 let. Literárně přehledová část se věnuje emoční inteligenci, výchově v rodině a dosavadním výzkumům zabývajících se vztahem emoční inteligence a dalších charakteristik. Výzkumná část si za hlavní cíl klade prozkoumat, zda souvisí výchovný styl ze strany rodičů (subjektivně hodnocený respondenty) s mírou emoční inteligence jejich potomků, popřípadě jakým způsobem spolu souvisí. Dalším cílem je porovnat výsledky emoční inteligence žen a mužů a zjistit, zda mezi pohlavími existuje statisticky významný rozdíl. Ke sběru dat byl použit Dotazník pro zjišťování způsobu výchovy v rodině a Schutteové škála emoční inteligence. Výzkumný soubor tvoří 167 respondentů, jejichž věk se pohybuje v rozmezí od 18 do 25 let. Statistické testování prokázalo, že jedinci s kladným a extrémně kladným emočním vztahem ze strany rodičů (subjektivní hodnocení respondenty) dosahují statisticky významně vyšší míry emoční inteligence než jedinci se záporným emočním vztahem ze strany rodičů (subjektivní hodnocení respondenty). Dále nebyl prokázán statisticky významný rozdíl v míře emoční inteligence mezi jedinci se slabým a silným výchovným řízením (subjektivní hodnocení respondenty). Statistické testování také prokázalo, že... This diploma thesis deals with the relationship between emotional intelligence and parenting style in individuals aged 18-25. The literature review part deals with emotional intelligence, family education and previous research dealing with the relationship between emotional intelligence and other characteristics. The primary aim of the research part is to examine whether the parenting style (subjectively evaluated by respondents) is related to the level of emotional intelligence of their offspring, or how they are related. Another aim is to compare the results of women's and men's emotional intelligence and find out whether there is a statistically significant difference between the sexes. The data were collected by means of a questionnaire on parenting style and the Schutte Emotional Intelligence Scale. The research sample consists of 167 respondents, whose age ranges from 18 to 25 years. Statistical testing demonstrated that individuals with a positive and extremely positive emotional relationship from their parents (subjective evaluation by respondents) achieve statistically significantly higher levels of emotional intelligence than individuals with a negative emotional relationship from their parents (subjective evaluation by respondents).
