Popularita sociálních sítí a počet jejich uživatelů neustále stoupá, a to zejména mezi dospívajícími. Dnešní děti a dospívající často patří mezi ty, kteří si již ani nepamatují svět bez internetu a chytrých telefonů. Tato skutečnost významně zasahuje do jejich vývoje, zejména v období dospívání a adolescence. V období dospívání, zejména v rámci adolescence, je hlavním vývojovým úkolem dosažení identity. Tento proces probíhá prostřednictvím experimentů se sebeprezentací a získáváním zpětné vazby od okolí, stejně jako socializací s vrstevníky. Pro všechny tyto procesy je prostředí sociálních sítí velmi plodné. Cílem mé práce je proto najít odpověď na otázky týkající se role sociálních sítích v procesu tvorby identity. Pro dosažení cíle práce jsem si zvolila konceptualizaci identity a jejích statusů v pojetí Jamese Marcii, a chování na sociálních sítích zkoumala pomocí procesu sebe-prezentace a jejích souvislostí s dosaženými statusy identity. V literárně přehledové části se zaměřuji na komplexní pojem identity a jeho možné definice, a dále na klíčové vývojové úkoly se zaměřením na vývoj identity a její prediktory. Dále se zabývám sociálními sítěmi z hlediska jejich definice, aktuální oblíbenosti mezi dospívajícími a charakteristikami nejvyužívanějších sítí. Poslední kapitola je věnována tématu vztahu... The popularity and usage of social networking sites (SNS) are constantly on the rise, mainly among adolescents. Nowadays kids and adolescents probably don't even remember the world without the internet and smartphones. This fact has an impact on their development, mostly during adolescence. The main task during adolescence, mainly during late adolescence, is identity achievement. This process is realized through identity experiments, self-presentation, getting feedback from others, and the peer-socialization. The environment of social media is ideal for all these processes. Thus, my thesis aims to find answers to questions considering the impact of SNS in process of identity formation. To complete the aim of my work I've chosen the concept of identity and its status proposed by James Marcia and I investigated the SNS behavior via the process of self-presentation and its relatedness to the statuses of identity. In the theoretical part, I am focusing on the complex term of identity, possible definitions of identity, and on key developmental tasks with a focus on identity development and its predictors.
