Diplomová práce s názvem Tři pražské divadelní budovy a jejich paměť pojednává o historii a proměnách postavení tří nejstarších divadelních budov v Praze, a to Stavovském divadle, Národním divadle a Státní opeře. Cílem práce je poukázat na to, jak se v průběhu staletí měnila jejich role. V úvodní kapitole je představen historický vývoj zmíněných budov od jejich založení až po současnost. Dále se práce věnuje tomu, jak byly jednotlivé budovy vnímány v různých obdobích za využití informací z dobového tisku a odborné literatury. Větší pozornost je věnována významným historickým momentům jako byly zábor Stavovského divadla roku 1920 či oslavy Roku českého divadla v roce 1983, kde se výrazně projevilo to, že divadelní budovy neplní jen úlohu kulturních institucí, ale že jsou reprezentanty národních idejí. Text pokrývá vývoj mezi léty 1783-2022 a je rozdělen na několik časových úseků. Diplomová práce demonstruje, jak významnou roli tyto divadelní budovy zaujímají v české historii, a i v české současné společnosti. The Diploma Thesis named Three Prague theatre buildings and their memory deals with the history and transformations of the status of the three oldest theatre buildings in Prague, namely The Estates Theatre, The National Theatre, and The State Opera. This thesis aims to show how their role has changed over the centuries. The introductory chapter offers a historical overview of the mentioned buildings, from their foundation to the present times. Next, the thesis deals with the perception of the theatre buildings during different periods with the help of the period press and scientific literature. More attention is devoted to the significant moments, such as the confiscation of the Estates Theatre in 1920 or the celebrations of the Year of the Czech theatre in 1983, which showed that the theatre buildings do not only fulfill the role of cultural institutions but also represent national ideas. The text covers the development between 1783 and 2022 and is divided into several time blocks. The Diploma Thesis demonstrates how significant role these buildings hold in the Czech history and even in today's society.
