Lezení obecně se stává čím dál populárnějším sportem díky umělým stěnám. V České republice je velké zastoupení tradičních pískovcových oblastí. Proto je cílem práce porovnat a najít rozdíl ve výkonnosti vybraných parametrů mezi lezením na umělé stěně a v tradičních pískovcových oblastech. Sběr dat byl proveden pomocí ankety rozeslané na Facebooku. Anketu vyplnilo celkem 160 respondentů s věkovém zastoupením mezi 23 a 39 lety. K vyhodnocení výkonu byla využita rozšířená IRCRA klasifikace, Pearsonova korelace, dále byl použit test pro vyloučení nulové korelace, průměr rozdílů, směrodatná odchylka, variační koeficient. Byla vyhodnocena korelace a rozdíl maximálních a komfortních red pointa top rope výkonů na umělé stěně vůči výkonům v tradičních pískovcových oblastech. U maximálních i komfortních red point přelezů byl potvrzen silný vztah s rozdílem nejméně 3 IRCRA stupně, kde vyšších obtížností dosahovali lezci na umělé stěně. V top rope byla prokázána středně silná závislost s rozdílem nejméně 2 stupně, kde vyšších obtížností dosahovali lezci na umělé stěně. Climbing in general is becoming an increasingly popular sport thanks to artificial walls. In the Czech Republic there is a large representation of traditional sandstone areas. Therefore, the aim of this study is to compare and find the difference in performance of selected parameters between climbing on artificial walls and in traditional sandstone areas. The data collection was carried out using a questionnaire sent out on Facebook. A total of 160 respondents completed the survey with an age distribution between 23 and 39 years. The extended IRCRA classification, Pearson's correlation was used to evaluate the performance, followed by the test to exclude zero correlation, mean of differences, standard deviation, coefficient of variation. The correlation and difference of maximum and comfort red pointe top rope performances on artificial wall versus performances in traditional sandstone areas were evaluated. A strong correlation was confirmed for both maximum and comfort red point climbs with a difference of at least 3 IRCRA grades, with higher difficulties achieved by climbers on the artificial wall. In top rope, a moderate relationship was confirmed with a difference of at least 2 degrees, where higher difficulties were achieved by climbers on the artificial wall.
