Abstract: Tématem práce je charakteristika historických aspektů informační politiky USA a jejích specifických rysů, dále také přehled životopisných údajů Billa Clintona a Alberta Gorea. Cílem práce je detailní popis a definování informační politiky Spojených států za období úřadu Clintona - Gorea, podrobný přehled a popis jednotlivých iniciativ. Práce se následně zabývá nástinem informační politiky Spojených států po nástupu George W. Bushe a v roce 2009 Baracka Obamy do prezidentského úřadu. V závěru práce je uvedeno shrnutí a porovnání jednotlivých zmiňovaných informačních politik.
