Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá klíčovými andragogickými myšlenkami Franze Pöggelera. Pöggeler byl významným německým andragogem druhé poloviny 20. století a je považován za jednoho ze zakladatelů andragogiky jako samostatné vědní disciplíny. Práce vychází především z Pöggelerovy ústřední andragogické publikace Erwachsenenbildung. Einführung in die Andragogik. (Vzdělávání dospělých. Úvod do andragogiky) z roku 1974. Cílem práce je interpretovat a systematizovat Pöggelerovy klíčové andragogické myšlenky a poskytnout ucelený obraz jeho koncepce andragogiky v kontextu jeho doby. Součástí práce je také kritické zhodnocení Pöggelerových andragogických myšlenek. Pöggeler was an important German adult educator in the second half of the 20th century and he is considered to be one of the founders of andragogy as an independent scientific discipline. The thesis is primarily based on Pöggeler's major andragogical work, Erwachsenenbildung: Einführung in die Andragogik (Adult Education: Introduction to Andragogy), which was published in 1974. The aim of the thesis is to interpret and organise Pöggeler's key andragogical ideas and to provide an integrated view of his andragogical concept in the context of his era. The thesis also includes a critical assessment of Pöggeler's andragogical ideas.
