Diplomová práce z oblasti sociologie sportu mapuje základní socio-demografické znaky běžců v ČR s důrazem na běžce mezi 30. - 50. rokem, kteří tvoří většinu běžeckého segmentu. Kromě těchto znaků práce také mapuje běžecké návyky, preference, oblíbená místa, motivy a aspirace týkající se nejenom nových závodů, ale měnícího se běžeckého vybavení či vzestupu neformálních skupin. Nedílnou součástí je bližší pohled na historii sociologie sportu u nás i ve světě stejně jako na vybrané sociální teorie blízké sociologii sportu. V metodologické části práce je rozpracován pohled na vnímání volného času, nové turistické alternativy - cestování za během či vnímání nových forem skupin, tzv. light communities které tvoří druhou část druhé běžecké vlny. Práce nabízí také bližší pohled na spokojenost běžců ve srovnání se spokojeností ekonomicky aktivních obyvatel v ČR (listopad 2018, CVVM). V rámci kvantitativní metodologie jsou data získána prostřednictvím metody respondent driven sampling na různých místech včetně sociálních sítí, ale i oslovením běžců různé úrovně. Deskriptivní data jsou získána pomocí dotazníkového šetření distribuované pomocí Google formulářů. Následné deskriptivní a inferenční analýzy (ANOVA, t-test, EFA, aj) dat z dotazníkového šetření jsou zpracovávány ve statistickém programu SPSS v. 25.... Diploma thesis from sociology of sport maps the basic socio-demographic characteristics of czech runners, with the emphasis on runners between the ages of 30 - 50, which form the most significant part of running segment. Aside from these characteristics it also deals with running habits, preferences, favourite locations for running, motivations and aspirations regarding not only new race events but also its evolving running equipments and last but not least the increase of informal running groups - light communities. The vital part is closer look on history of sociology in regards to sport in the Czech republic, and also as a part of world sociological tradition. It shows that even traditional sociological theories can be applied when some processes in society are scientifically studied. In methodological part the concept of free time is used, as well as a new look on alternative tourism - travelling for running events. As a part of second running wave the concept of light communities is examined, too. Moreover, this work shows the closer look on runners' satisfaction in life in comparison with economically active population in the Czech rep (Nov 2018, CVMM).
