Hlavním tématem této diplomové práce je pedagogika belgického lékaře a pedagoga Ovida Decrolyho. Teoretická část obsahuje zařazení Decrolyho v rámci světové pedagogiky, stručný životopis, charakteristiku pedagogiky a tématické výuky v Decrolyho škole a v programu Začít spolu. V praktické části se budu věnovat použití Decrolyho tématické výuky v rámci programu Začít spolu v mateřské a základní škole. Informace v mé diplomové práci mohou být přínosné těm, co se chtějí s Decrolym seznámit a vytvořit si o něm a o jeho metodě základní představu. Mohou také inspirovat k práci s tématem ve vlastní třídě. The main topic of my diploma thesis is a pedagogy of the Belgian doctor and pedagogue Ovide Decroly. The theoretical part includes a classification of alternative approaches to education, Decroly's short biography, description of the pedagogy and thematic education in Decroly's school and in the "Step by Step" programme. In the practical part I discuss the application of Decroly's thematic education in the Step by Step programme in the classes of kindergarten and elementary school. The results of my thesis may become useful for those who intent to study Decroly's life and pedagogy and acquire a basic knowledge of the topic. They can also inspire in the work with the thematic education in your own class.
