Teorie situačního vedení, ústřední téma diplomové práce, je v současnosti jednou z oblastí zkoumaných v sociologii organizace a řízení. Primárním cílem práce je zmapovat manažerské styly řízení vedoucích pracovníků prodejen ve specifické oblasti oční optiky v České republice, určit, zdali jsou manažeři efektivní v řízení svých podřízených pracovníků, a to vše s ohledem na teorii situačního leadershipu podle Blancharda a Herseyho. Práce je převážně empirickou studií zabývající se problematikou stylů řízení jednotlivců na vyšších pracovních pozicích v organizacích působících ve vybraném oboru a jejich efektivnosti na podřízenou sociální skupinu nazývanou tým. V metodologické části bude představen výzkumný nástroj kvantitativního charakteru modifikovaný autorkou tak, aby mohl být využit v českém prostředí v konkrétní oblasti a následně aplikovaný na cílové skupiny. Teoretická východiska a poznatky by pak měly vhodně dokreslit výsledky analýz získaných dat. The Theory of Situational Leadership, the core of the thesis, has become nowadays one of the intensively studied area in Sociology of management. The primary goal to be accomplished here in this thesis is to examine leadership styles of leaders in the optical business in the Czech Republic and to determine if the leaders are effective when exercise leading the followers, all with regard to Blanchard's and Hersey's Situational Leadeship Theory. The main part of the thesis consists of empirical study which focuses on leaders and their ledearship styles in optical organizations as well as their effectiveness in leading team of followers. The quantitative survey tool modified by author so can be used in czech environment will be introduced in the methodological part of the thesis. The theoretical assumptions should appropriately illustrate the analytical results obtained by the research.
