Diplomová práce "Zdravotní stav nezaměstnaných v předdůchodovém věku" se zabývá problémem vztahu mezi zdravotním stavem a nezaměstnaností osob v předdůchodovém věku. Stárnutí populace a postupné posouvání hranice důchodového s sebou přináší otázku, zda budou lidé všech typů profesí schopni pracovat do stále vyššího věku. Cílem práce proto bylo především hlouběji proniknout do vztahu mezi sociálními determinantami zdraví, aktuálním zdravotním stavem, uplatnitelností na trhu práce u osob v předdůchodovém věku. Zvoleným designem výzkumu byla případová studie a jedním z cílů bylo i testování vhodnosti kombinace použitých metod. Práce se opírá o kombinaci tří metod: analýzy dat o struktuře uchazečů nezaměstnaných starších 45-ti let v regionu, dotazníkového šetření s využitím dotazníku EuroQol a polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s uchazeči Práce by měla mimo jiné sloužit k otevření diskuze o působení sociálních determinant na zdravotní stav a rozdíly ve zdraví lidí v předdůchodovém věku, a zpětně, jakým způsobem zdravotní stav ovlivňuje jejich schopnost uplatnění na trhu práce. Upozorňuje také na nerovné rozdělení zdravotních rizik a jeho možné dopady. Zároveň otevírá diskuzi o možných cestách řešení. The thesis "Health state of the unemployed older workers" deals with the problem of relationship between health state and unemployement of older workers. The aging of population and extention of the productive age brings the question: Will people working in all types of professions able to work such a long time? Threfore the objective of those thesis has been the deeper understanding of the relationship between social determinants of health, actual health state and ability to find a job on a labour market in connection to older workers. The case study has been a chosen research design and one of their objectives has been a testing of the combination of chosen methods. The research is based on combination of three methods: the analysis of the structure of the unemployed, questionnaires with the use of EuroQol questionairie and the interwiews with the unemployed. The thesis should also contribute opening the discussion about the impacts of the social determinants of health for the health state of older workers. And also how health state influences their chances on the labour market. The thesisi also notice the health inequalities and their possible cosequences and opens the discussion about the possible ways of solutions.
