V úvodní části závěrečné bakalářské práce jsou popsána teoretická východiska, o která se může opřít management školy při snaze ovlivnit rozhodovací proces žáků a jejich zákonných zástupců, zda přestoupit na víceleté gymnázium, nebo zda jejich vzdělávací dráha bude pokračovat na stávající základní škole. Výzkumná část se zabývá zjištěním motivů zvažovaného odchodu žáků na víceletá gymnázia, resp. důvodů, na základě kterých žáci zůstávají na základních školách. Přináší doporučení pro management školy, jak ovlivňovat toto rozhodování. In the introductory part of the final bachelor thesis the theoretical basis are described. These are the ones that school management can rely on when influencing the decision-making process of pupils and their legal representatives whether to change to grammar school or whether pupil's education will remain at the existing primary school. The practical part of the paper deals with finding motifs when leaving to grammar schools is considered, in other words, reasons why pupils remain at primary schools. Moreover, it provides recommendations for school management to influence these decisions.
