Bakalářská práce "Mediální obraz Václava Havla ve vybraných obdobích 2003-2008" se pokouší nastínit konstrukce mediálního obrazu bývalého českého prezidenta Václava Havla po jeho odchodu z této funkce ve dvou českých denících - v Lidových novinách a Právu. Analyzována budou dvě vybraná období. Prvním zkoumaným časovým úsekem jsou dva měsíce po skončení jeho prezidentské funkce, druhým úsekem stejné dva měsíce o pět let později: konkrétně tedy a) 1.2. - 31.3.2003 a b) 1.2. - 31.3.2008. POmocí obsahové analýzy budou popisovány články, ve kterých se vyskytne osoba Václava Havla a fotografický materiál, na kterém bude vyobrazen. Základním teoretickým východiskem práce je teorie sociální konstrukce reality a metodologickým kvantitativní obsahová analýza. Práce se bude snažit zjistit, jak postupují vybraná média ve vytváření mediálního obrazu známé osobnosti, zda účelně používají určité opakující se postupy a tendence. Hlavním cílem je pokusit se naznačit, jaký obraz Havlovi deníky zakotvené v různých názorových spektrech konstruují, zda pozitivní či negativní, zda se snaží o objektivitu nebo mají sklony k emotivním, subjektivním hodnocením. Jelikož je výzkum pouze menší sondou, není jeho prioritou stanovit Havlův definitivní mediální obraz, ale pouze pokus o naznačení principů, které mohou média využít v... Diploma thesis "The media presentment oj Vaclav Havel in the selected periods 2003-2008" tries to delineate constructions of media presentment of the late president of Czech Republic Václav Havel after leaving presidency. We will analyze two selected periods in two czech journals - Lidové noviny and Právo. The periods are defined: a) 1.2. - 31.3.2003 and b) 1.2. 31.3.2008. The first period covers two months after the end of Havel"s president function, the second period contents the same two months five years later, so we could make a comparison what has changed during those five years in the media presentment of Havel. We will describe textual matter as well as photographies, using quantitative and qualitative analysis. The basic theoretic resource is the theory of the social construction of reality and the basic methodological resource will be the quantitative analysis. The diploma thesis will try to discover, how the selected medias go in making the media presentment of a famous person; if they use some repeating procedures or habits. The main aim is to intimate constructions of media presentments: if selected media will construct positive or negative presentments of Václav Havel, if they will try to be objective or they will have inclinations to use some emotive and subjective valuations.
