Cílem této bakalářské práce je popsat institucionální mechanismus, jímž u nás v současnosti procházejí rodiče, u jejichž dětí bylo v rámci neonatologického screeningu vysloveno podezření na vadu sluchu. První část práce se věnuje neonatologickému screeningu sluchu, jeho podobě v České republice a v zahraničí, jeho historii, legislativnímu ukotvení u nás apod. Dále jsou zde popsané možné způsoby následné péče o dítě se sluchovým postižením v České republice. Empirická část práce vychází z rozhovorů se zdravotnickými pracovníky nemocnic provádějícími neonatologický screening sluchu a s matkami sluchově postižených dětí. Cílem bylo zjistit, jak v praxi probíhá neonatologický screening sluchu, a také, jaké zkušenosti mají rodiče sluchově postižených dětí jak se screeningem, tak s následnou péčí o jejich dítě. The theoretical part focuses on neonatal hearing screening, its appearance in the Czech Republic and abroad, its history, legislative etc. There are also described possible ways of follow-up care for a child with hearing impairment in the Czech Republic. The practical part is based on interviews with medical staff who performs neonatal hearing screening and mothers of hearing impaired children. The aim was to see how, in practice, works neonatal hearing screening, and also the experiences of parents of hearing impaired children with screening and the care for their child that came after.
