Název: Zájem o atletiku a další sportovní aktivity u dětí ve věku 12 - 15 let. Cíle: Zjistit zájem o atletiku a sportovní aktivity u dětí ve věku 12 - 15 let a porovnat odpovědi dětí z vybraných základních škol a gymnázií. Metody: Pro splnění cíle bylo použito dotazníkového šetření. Dotazníky byly rozdány do dvou škol - ZŠ Jílovská a Gymnázium Omská, ani jedna z nich nemá sportovní zaměření. Věková kategorie byla ve věku 12 - 15 let. Celkem jsme dostali zpět n=359 dotazníků. Hlavním předmětem výzkumu bylo zjistit zájem o sportovní aktivity a atletiku mimo hodiny školní tělesné výchovy. Ve výzkumu jsme zjišťovali jakým aktivitám se děti a mládež ve svém volném čase věnují, kdo je motivuje a podporuje ve sportu a jaký mají vztah k atletice. Výsledky: Výsledky ukázaly, že děti a mládež i přes dostupnost dnešní moderní techniky mají o sport stále zájem. Z celkového počtu dotazovaných n=359 dětí zvolilo sport jako jednu z volnočasových aktivit 23% dětí. Sportu se ve svém volném času věnují stejně rády jako aktivitám s kamarády či hraní her na počítači. Celých 91% dětí se věnuje určitému druhu sportu, nejčastěji byly uvedeny tyto sporty: fotbal, florbal, basketbal, plavání, aerobik, atletika, hokej, softbal, tenis, stolní tenis, bojové sporty a jezdectví. Objectives: To determine interest in athletics and other activities for children aged 12 to 15 years and to compare the responses of children from selected elementary schools and grammar schools. Methods: A questionnaire survey was used to meet the objectives. Questionnaires were distributed to two schools - Elementary School (ZS Jilovska) and Grammar School (Gymnázium Omska), of which neither one focuses on sports. Age group was between 12 to 15 years of age. Total of 359 questionnaires was collected. The main objective of the research was to determine the interest in sports and athletics beyond school physical education classes. In this study we investigated the activities in which children and young people engage in their leisure time; who motivates and supports them in sports, and how they relate to athletics. Results: The results showed that children and youth, despite the availability of today's modern techniques, are still interested in sports. Of the total number of 359 respondents, 23% of children chose sports as one of the leisure activities.
