Tato práce pojednává o poválečných letech rumburského okresu, respektive o událostech odsunu a především znovuosídlení. Práce byla sestavena na základě archivních materiálů (SOkA Děčín), zejména správní povahy, dále byla prováděna komparace dostupné sekundární literatury a v neposlední řadě byly do výzkumu zařazeny i vzpomínky pamětníků. V úvodu práce je čtenář seznámen s dostupnou literaturou a prameny. Práce je členěna do několika základních částí. První se věnuje ještě tématu odsunu, kterou autor pokládá za stěžejní pro pochopení fenoménu znovuosídlení. Tato část se dále člení na vnímání odsunu obecně pro celé Československo a dále konkrétně pro okres Rumburk. Druhou částí je již samotné znovuosídlení, které opět vymezuje obecně a konkrétně. Poslední pasáž práce se již zabývá pouze rumburským okresem a to pohledem pramenů a vzpomínkami pamětníků. Zároveň obsahuje kapitolu o společenském a kulturním životě celého okresu (kulturní a sportovní spolky, otázky náboženského charakteru, proměny měst a krajiny). Předkládaná práce si neklade za cíl předložit čtenáři rozsáhlé informace o odsunu či znovuosídlení, ale měla by být přínosem či rozšířením regionálního badatelského zájmu o danou problematiku. KLÍČOVÁ SLOVA Rumburk, odsun, znovuosídlení, pohraničí, poválečná léta This thesis deals with the post-war years of the Rumburk district, more precisely with post-war expulsions and mainly with resettlement. The work was based on archival materials (SOkA Děčín), especially on the administrative ones, secondly, the comparison of accessible secondary literature was made and lastly, the actual memories of those who still remember were composed into the research. The accessible literature and sources are introduced to the reader right in the introduction. The thesis is divided into three basic parts. The first part focuses on the topic of post-war expulsions, what the author considers to be crucial for understanding of the phenomena of resettlement. Furthermore, this part consists of two parts: perception of post- war expulsions generally in the whole Czechoslovakia and concretely in the Rumburk region. The second part of the thesis includes the topic of resettlement, generally and concretely, as well. The last section deals with the Rumburk region from the view of historical sources and those who still remember. It also contains a chapter about the regional social and cultural life (culture and sports clubs, religion, towns and landscape transformation).
