Diplomová práce s názvem Analýza mediálního obrazu Miloše Zemana ve zpravodajství ČTK za první rok v prezidentské funkci se zabývá zpravodajskými texty z produkce České tiskové kanceláře, které informují o prezidentovi České republiky Miloši Zemanovi v období od 8. 3. 2013 do 8. 3. 2014. Cílem práce bylo získat komplexní mediální obraz prezidenta Zemana tak, jak vyznívá ze zpravodajské produkce ČTK. Primárně práce zkoumá celkový počet zpráv v jednotlivých časových intervalech, jejich tematickou skladbu a tonalitu, sekundárně pak sleduje trend těchto jevů v horizontu jednoho roku i souvislosti mezi zmíněnými jevy. Východiskem pro výzkum je teoretický kontext, který se zabývá zpravodajstvím a konstruováním reality ve zprávách. K samotnému výzkumu byla použita kvantitativní obsahová analýza s kvalitativním přesahem ve formě hodnocení emocionálního vyznění textů. Jako zdroj dat pro analýzu posloužila množina textů získaných z infobanky ČTK. Výzkum potvrdil některé hypotézy, například že zájem o prezidenta Zemana z pohledu ČTK má v dlouhodobém horizontu klesající tendenci nebo že počet negativně vyznívajících zpráv je vyšší než počet textů s pozitivní tonalitou. Výsledky této analýzy mohou posloužit jako podklady pro práci zaměstnanců tiskového odboru Kanceláře prezidenta republiky i pro odborníky... This thesis titled Analysis of Media Image of Milos Zeman as Portrayed by CTK during the First Year of Presidency focuses on news releases made by Czech News Agency CTK that within the time frame of 8. 3. 2013 - 8. 3. 2014 inform about the President of the Czech Republic Milos Zeman. The goal of this thesis was to aquire a complex media impression of President as presented by CTK's news production. Primarily this thesis inquires into the total number of news releases within particular time periods, their topics and tonality. Secondarily this thesis observes the trends of these phenomenons within a one-year time horizon and the connection and coherence among the aforementioned phenomenons. The basis of this thesis is theoretical context that deals with news releases and pursues media construction of reality in the news. For this research there was used quantitative content analysis with qualitative overlap in form of emotional impression of news releases. As a data resource there was used an aggregate of texts from CTK's infobank. Research proved certain hypothesis, as e.g. a long-term dropping tendency of media interest in President Zeman or a higher number of negatively rather than positively tinted news.
