Diplomová práce "Proces Pražského jara 1968-69 z hlediska transitologické teorie" pojednává o období tzv. Pražského jara a krátce také o roku následujícím, kdy se aplikací transitologických metod snaží nastínit možný další vývoj Československa v případě, že by liberalizační proces nebyl zastaven intervencí vojsk Varšavské smlouvy. V práci je uveden stručný vývoj transitologie, poté jsou zmíněny tři teorie přechodů k demokracii významných autorů zabývajících se tímto tématem. Ve střední části práce zkoumán postoj reformátorů ke společnosti v roce 1968 v Československu, změny v samotné společnosti i v KSČ. Důležitý faktor zde představuje mezinárodní situace a vlivy států sovětského bloku na obrodný proces a jeho představitele. Stěžejní kapitola pak nabízí možný budoucí vývoj Československa po aplikací transitologických teorií. V závěru je zmínka o událostech roku 1969, pomocí dvou výzkumů veřejného mínění je přiblíženo vnímání Pražského jara s odstupem 25 a 30 let a jeho význam pro přechod k demokracii v roce 1989. Diploma thesis "Prague Spring from the point of view of the transition theory" deals with the time period of "Prague Spring" and briefly also about the following year. The application of the methods of transition tries to show the next development of Czechoslovakia in case if the development hasn't had stopped by the intervention of troops of Warsaw Pact. There is a brief development of transitology there and then; three transition theories from significant authors discussing this topic are mentioned there. Further, the attitudes of reformers to the society in the year 1968 in Czechoslovakia, changes in the society itself and in the Communist Party are investigated there. A very important fact is the international situation and influence of states of the Soviet Block to reviving process and it representatives. The main chapter offers the possible future development of Czechoslovakia after the implementation transition theories. In the last part events from the year 1969 are mentioned. Two public polls bring closer the perception of Prague Spring after 25 and 30 years and its importance for the transition to democracy in 1989.
