Diplomová práce se zabývá péčí o dívku s Rettovým syndromem (RTT) v rodině. V šesti hlavních kapitolách a jednotlivých podkapitolách je představena problematika Rettova syndromu, rodiny dívky s RTT a oblasti péče o dívku. První kapitola diplomové práce předkládá základní problematiku týkající se Rettova syndromu s nastíněním historie, definice, příčin vzniku a jeho projevů. Je uvedena prevalence a incidence, diagnostika a projevy RTT. Následující podkapitoly jsou věnovány jednotlivým stádiím Rettova syndromu, jejich průběhu a problematice RTT u chlapců. Druhá kapitola se zaměřuje na problematiku rodiny, která pečuje o dítě s postižením, předkládá definici rodiny a fáze přijetí dítěte s postižením. Následující podkapitoly uvádí náročnost péče o dítě s postižením a je představen přehled možných forem podpory pro rodiny dětí s postižením. Třetí kapitola se zaobírá vybranými oblastmi péče, které rodiče dívek s RTT musí často obstarávat. Mezi jednotlivé podkapitoly spadají následující oblasti jako hygiena, spánek, stravování, pohyb, komunikace a péče o zdraví. Čtvrtou kapitolou je samotné výzkumné šetření, vedené kvalitativně. Výzkumné šetření si kladlo za cíl zjistit, jak rodiče dívek s RTT vnímají komplexní péči o dceru, a jaká je jim poskytována podpora, případně jaká navrhují zlepšení podpory. Ke... The diploma thesis deals with the care of a girl with Rett syndrome (RTT) in the family. The six main chapters and individual subchapters present the issues of Rett syndrome, the family of a girl with RTT and area of care for a girl with RTT. The first chapter of the diploma thesis presents the fundamental issues related to Rett syndrome with an outline of the history, definition, causes and manifestations. The prevalence and incidence, diagnosis and manifestations of RTT are presented. The following subchapters are devoted to the individual stages of Rett syndrome, their course and the issue of RTT in boys. The second chapter focuses on the issue of the family caring for a child with a disability, presents a definition of the family and the stages of acceptance of a child with a disability. The following subchapters present the complex care for a child with a disability and present an overview of possible forms of support for families of children with disabilities. The third chapter deals with selected areas of care that parents of girls with RTT often have to provide. The individual subchapters include the following areas such as hygiene, sleep, diet, mobility, communication and health care.
