Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá stěžejními kognitivními, afektivními i konativními aspekty stigmatizace duševního onemocnění, a to zejména v kontextu křesťanských církevních společenství. Na základě výsledků zahraničního výzkumu se ukazuje, že duševně nemocní věřící se mohou potýkat s nepochopením, odmítavým postojem a zduchovňováním symptomů svého psychiatrického onemocnění ze strany církevní komunity a církevních autorit. Doposud se této problematice v odborných kruzích věnovalo poměrně málo pozornosti (existuje pouze několik výzkumných studií převážně z anglosaského prostředí). Cílem práce je tedy upozornit odbornou veřejnost na existenci tohoto jevu, možné dopady na celkovou kvalitu prožívání křesťanů s duševním onemocněním a nastínit možné cesty řešení tohoto ožehavého problému. Navrhovaná výzkumná studie by se měla za použití metody zakotvené teorie zabývat fenomenologickou rovinou tohoto tématu. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org) This bachelor's thesis examines the core cognitive, affective and conative aspects of stigma surrounding mental illness, particularly in the context of Christian church communities. Drawing on international research, it has been shown that believers with mental illness may face misunderstanding, rejection and spiritualization of symptoms of their mental distress by church community and church authorities. To this date, this issue has received relatively little academic attention (with only a few studies, mostly from Anglo-American settings). The aim of this thesis is therefore to draw the attention of the professional community to the existence of this phenomenon, the possible impact on overall quality of life experience of Christians with mental illness and to outline possible ways of addressing this challenging issue.
