cze Abstract:
[cze][eng] (česky) Práce popisuje vznik, založení a vývoj československého uranového průmyslu od konce druhé světové války do konce padesátých let 20. století. This the[sis describes the origins, establishment and development of the Czechoslovak uranium industry from the end of the Second World War to the end of the 1950s. It surveys the development of this field based on several chosen factors that demonstrate certain changes that occurred over time. It also focuses on the development of bilateral business relations between Czechoslovakia and the Soviet Union. The primary aim of this thesis is to describe the politico-economic causes which led to the genesis of a new industrial branch. Secondarily, the thesis strives to consider whether the foundation of this branch was beneficial for the newly restored republic after the year 1945 or whether it instead introduced considerable difficulties.
