I přesto však není v současné době příliš jasné, do jaké míry může úroveň motorické vyspělosti dětí ovlivňovat úroveň neverbální inteligence, která je důležitou složkou tzv. akademické úspěšnosti dětí. Cíle práce Cílem disertační práce je zjistit a analyzovat míru vlivu a její stabilitu v čase mezi úrovní motorické vyspělosti a výkonem v neverbální složce inteligence u dětí mladšího školního věku se zohledněním věku (kategorie 6 - 7 let, 8 - 9 let a 10 - 11 let) a pohlaví. Metody práce: Výzkumný soubor zahrnoval 396 dětí (n= 214 dívek, n = 182 chlapců) ve věkovém rozpětí 6 - 11 let (věk 8,9±1,3) ze dvou základních škol (Karlovarský kraj, Praha).
