Kateřina Nováková- Malba jako hmota ABSTRAKT Ve své práci se zaměřuji na malbu a její hmotné přesahy. Na obrazy již nepohlížím pouze zrakem, ale i hmatem. Tím se ve svých důsledcích narušuje optická hladkost malby a je kladen důraz na hmotu, strukturu a reliéf. Zaměřuji se tedy na výraznou malířskou stopu, pastózní a gestický malířský projev. Reflektuji různé malířské přístupy ke krajině, a v kontextu práce akcentuji ty, které pracují s barvou jako hmotou. Na příkladu tvorby vybraných umělců představuji její specifika. Z přehledu je zřejmé, že 20. století otevřelo prostor pro materiálový experiment. V něm je těžiště praktické části, tedy mé vlastní malířské tvorby. Série obrazů je malbou, která přesahuje z dvourozměrného zobrazení do trojrozměrného, dodávající obrazům plastický charakter. K tomu využívám malířské i nemalířské materiály. Námětem se držím abstraktně pojaté krajiny, inspirované předměty každodennosti. V didaktické části navrhuji a následně realizuji tři odlišné úkoly, spojující malbu a krajinný prvek ve výtvarných úlohách. Kateřina Nováková- Painting as matter ABSTRACT In my thesis I focus on painting and its material overlap. I no longer only observe paintings by sight, alone, I also use touch. As a result, the optical smoothness of the painting is disrupted and emphasis is placed on matter, structure and relief. I focus on the distinctive painter's footprint, impasto and gestic painting. I reflect on different approaches to landscape painting, and in the context of work I accentuate those who work with color as matter. I present the specifics using examples of artwork of selected artists. It is evident from the overview that the 20th century paved the way for material experimentation. In it, is the focus of the practical section of my thesis, i.e. my own piece of artwork. The series of images is a painting that extends from the two-dimensional to the three-dimensional, giving the images a plastic character. For this purpose, I use painting and non-painting materials. I adhere to the theme of an abstractly conceived landscape inspired by everyday objects. In the didactic section of the thesis, I propose and then undertake three varied tasks, connecting painting and a landscape element in an artistic function.
