V modelovém území povodí Trkmanky byly v Boleradické vrchovině a ve Ždánickém lese vybrány 4 typické profily, na nichž byly studovány hranice mezi lesními společenstvy 2. bukodubového a 3. dubobukového vegetačního stupně. Kromě tradičních metod fytocenologických byl aplikován i malakologický výzkum. Four vegetation profiles and natural borders among natural forest plant communities were studied in Středomoravské Karpaty mountains in model area of drainage Trkmanka river. Malacological survey was applied too.
