1 Anotace Tématem mé bakalářské práce je středověký jednolodní kostel Stětí sv. Jana Křtitele v Hostivaři v Praze. Velmi cenným reliktem se staly nedávno objevené malby z druhé poloviny 13. století v apsidě kostela s ústřední kompozicí Majestas Domini. Má práce by měla být shrnutím dosavadních poznatků o kostele tak, aby vytvářela ucelený doklad, který ještě doposud nebyl sepsán. Jan Křtitel, Poslední soud 1 Abstract The topic of my bachelor thesis is the medieval St. John the Baptist church in Hostivař, Prague. A precious relict has been recently uncovered in its apse in form of paintings from the second half of 13th century, namely the Majestas Domini composition. My thesis forms a summary of existing findings concerning the church, creating a comprehensive document about the building which has not yet been written.
