[cze][eng] Diabetes mellitus patří mezi chronické civilizační choroby se vzrůstající celosvětovou incidencí. S tímto onemocněním se pojí četné komplikace, které zvyšují mortalitu i morbiditu pacientů. Cílem léčby je snaha o kompenzaci choroby a oddálení rozvoje zejména pozdních komplikací diabetu. Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na glykovaný hemoglobin, který v současné době zaujímá primární postavení v hodnocení kompenzace diabetu mellitu. Teoretická část je zaměřena na základní charakteristiku a přidružené komplikace. Pozornost je věnována hodnocení kompenzace choroby. Praktická část je zaměřena na metody stanovení glykovaného hemoglobinu, vztahy mezi hladinou glykovaného hemoglobinu, průměrnou glykémií a BMI u pacientů. Klíčová slova: Diabetes mellitus, glykovaný hemoglobin, diabetická retinopatie, diabetická nefropatie, diabetická neuropatie.Diabetes mellitus belongs to the chronic civilization diseases with increasing inter-incidence. This Disease is connected with numerous complications that increase patients mortality and morbidity. The aim of the cure is to compensate and delay the development of especially late complications of diabetes. The bachelor thesis is focused on glycated hemoglobin, which is currently considered the primary method in evaluation of the diabetes mellitus compensation. The theoretical part is focused on basic characteristics and associated complications with the attention paid to the evaluation of the disease compensation. The practical part is focused on methods of determination of glycated hemoglobin, relations among the patients' levels of glycated hemoglobin, average blood glucose and BMI.
