Abstrakt: [cze][eng] Estetická dimenze hraní počítačových her Abstrakt Diplomovou práci lze rozdělit do dvou hlavních částí. První část sleduje počátek diskuse ohledně uměleckosti počítačových her. Vybrané teorie z této diskuse jsou blíže analyzovány a kriticky nahlédnuty. Konkrétně se jedná o teorie zvažující emocionální potenciál her, narativitu nebo jejich klastrovou definici. V rámci druhé části je na počítačové hry nahlédnuto optikou estetické zkušenosti. Nejprve je v krátké odbočce poukázáno na podobnost počítačových her a sportu, v rámci které je zvážena role pravidel a výhry. Následně je pro interpretaci fenoménu využita teorie Johna Deweyho. Text je protkán příklady starých i aktuálních počítačových her. The first part follows the beginning of the discussion which considers computer games as Art. Selected theories are analyzed and critically reviewed. Specifically, these are theories considering the emotional potential of games, their narativity, or their cluster definition. In the second part are computer games seen as aesthetic experiences. In a short diversion the similarities between computer games and sport are shown. Also the role of winning and rules is contemplated. Subsequently, John Dewey's theory is used to interpret the phenomenon. The text is interwoven with examples of old and current computer games.
