1 Abstrakt Bakalářská práce se věnuje dvěma románům spisovatele Miloše Urbana - Sedmikostelí a Hastrman, které pochází z jeho rané tvorby na přelomu tisíciletí. Součástí práce je jejich interpretace, žánrové zařazení, filmové adaptace, zahraniční překlady či návaznost na Urbanovu další tvorbu. Teoretická část obsahuje i kapitolu o literární kritice. Druhá část práce se věnuje mediální reflexi a kritickému přijetí obou románů v českých médiích. Vybrané recenze a kritiky jsou z denního tisku, zpravodajských serverů, společenských časopisů i specializovaných kulturních periodik. Při analýze mediální reflexe je kladen důraz na části románů, které jsou recenzenty vyzdvihovány či zatracovány. Součástí příloh je i rozhovor s Milošem Urbanem. 1 Abstract This bachelor thesis is about two novels by writer Milos Urban - Sedmikostelí and Hastrman, which are from his early work on the turn of the millennium. The thesis also contains an interpretation of these novels, their discrepant genre classification, films, foreign translations or the correlation with the rest of Urban's work. The theoretical part of the thesis also contains a chapter about literary criticism. The second part of the thesis is mainly about media reception of both novels. Selected reviews are from daily newspapers, magazines or special cultural periodicals. During the analysis of reception, there was a focus on parts of the novels which were highlighted or criticized by reviewers. At the end of the thesis, there is also an interview with Milos Urban.
