Práce se zaměřuje na výzkum vztahu mezi časovou perspektivou a self-efficacy v pozdní adolescenci. V teoretické části je představen koncept časové perspektivy v pojetí Zimbarda a Boyda, Bandurův koncept self-efficacy a je uvedeno pojetí negativní časové perspektivy jako samostatného konceptu. V empirické části je zkoumán vztah mezi jednotlivými dimenzemi časové perspektivy a self-efficacy v akademické, emoční a sociální oblasti. Dále byly zkoumány rozdíly v časové perspektivě a self-efficacy mezi studenty maturitního ročníku gymnázia a studenty prvního ročníku vysoké školy a rozdíly mezi chlapci a dívkami. Výsledky výzkumu prokázaly významný vztah mezi negativní časovou perspektivou a self-efficacy a potvrdily celistvost konceptu negativní časové perspektivy. Dále bylo prokázáno, že studenti vysoké školy výše skórují v negativní časové perspektivě, níže na škále hédonistická přítomnost a mají vyšší akademické self-efficacy než studenti gymnázia. Co se týče rozdílů mezi pohlavími, dívky skórují výše v negativní časové perspektivě a na škále pozitivní minulost, dále vykazují vyšší míru akademického self-efficacy a nižší míru emočního self-efficacy než chlapci. The thesis is focused on exploring of relationship between Time Perspective and Self-Efficacy in late Adolescence. The theoretical part presents Zimbardo's and Boyd's conception of Time Perspective, Bandura's conception of Self-Efficacy and conception of Negative Time Perspective as an individual concept. The empirical part examines the relationship between the individual dimensions of Negative Time Perspective and Self-Efficacy in academic, emotional and social domain. In addition, the differences in Time Perspective and Self-Efficacy between students in the last year of high school and students in the first year of university and gender differences are examined. The results confirm the expected significant correlation between Negative Time Perspective and Self-Efficacy and the integrity of the concept Negative Time Perspective. University students score higher in Negative Time Perspective and Academic Self-Efficacy, but lower in Present Hedonistic than high school students. The analysis of gender differences also showed that girls score higher in Negative Time Perspective and Academic Self-Efficacy, but lower in Emotional Self-Efficacy than boys.
