Bakalářská práce Perzekuce římskokatolické církve v Československu mezi lety 1948 a 1950 pojednává o problematice československých poválečných dějin týkající se represí proti odpůrcům komunistického režimu. Cílem práce je nalezení odpovědi na výzkumnou otázku, do jaké míry byla činnost římskokatolické církve komunistickými represemi postižena, a do jaké míry se tato církev poddala tlakům na podřízení komunistické moci, pomocí syntézy dílčích závěrů jednotlivých kapitol. Ve zkoumaném období mezi lety 1948 a 1950 jsou sledovány důsledky jednání církevních a státních zástupců na postavení církve, význam nově přijatých komunistických zákonů omezujících či podřizujících činnost církve a důsledky vybraných forem represí komunistického režimu proti římskokatolické církvi a jejím příslušníkům. Práce dochází k závěru, že největší vliv na oslabení postavení církve ve společnosti mělo přijetí církevních zákonů, a to jak z hlediska míry postižení církve komunistickými represemi, tak z hlediska podřízení církve státní moci. Všechny shromážděné poznatky dokazují, že církev nátlaku a útokům morálně odolala a stala se symbolem odporu proti režimu. The Bachelor thesis The persecution of the Roman Catholic Church in Czechoslovakia between the years 1948 and 1950 deals with the issue of the Czechoslovak post-war history concerning the reprisals against objectors of the communist regime. The aim of the thesis lies in the processing of the explorational question about the extent of the impact of the communist persecution on the activity of the Catholic Church and about the efforts of the communist regime to enforce the submission of the Church through the synthesis of particular conclusions of given chapters. In the researched period between the years 1948 and 1950 the work describes the consequences of the negotiations between the representatives of the Church and the regime, the importance of the newly issued laws and the results of the selected forms of the persecution of the Church members. The thesis concludes that the Church laws were the most significant impulses, affecting the Church position in the society in the both researched aspects. All gained findings prove that the Church was weakened, however, it morally resisted to the pressure and aggressions of the communist regime and became the symbol of the resistance.
