The active factor from the neural tissues of the flesh fly, Neobellieria bullata is a peptide belonging to the pyrokinin/ PBAN family and named Neb-PK-2 (SVQFKPRL-amide). The active principle from the haemolymph is a protein but its identity is still elusive. Aktivní faktor nervové tkáně regulující tvorbu puparia u mouchy Neobellieria bullata je peptid pyrokinin/ PBAN nazvaný Neb-PK-2 (SVQFKPRL-amide). Aktivním principem v hemolymfě je zatím neznámý protein.
