Bakalářská práce pojednává o fenoménu digitálních médií a jejich vlivu a roli v současné společnosti. Cílem práce je popsat změny související s vlivem médií na společnost zejména vliv na dospívající mládež a děti. Tématem je snaha vymezit stav působení médií s důrazem na možné problémy vývoje mládeže. Práce hodnotí změny trávení volného času a dále popisuje sociálně patologické jevy vyskytující se ve spojitosti s digitálními médii a vliv užívání digitálních technologií a médií na současnou generaci dospívajících. Výzkum si klade za cíl zjistit, kolik času a jakým způsobem tráví dospívající svůj čas na internetu a jak je ovlivňují digitální média prostřednictvím kvantitativního výzkumu. The aim of this work is to describe the changes related to the influence of the digital media on society in particular - the one connected to children and adolescents. The theme is to define its status with an emphasis on youth development issues. The thesis evaluates changes in leisure time activities and describes social pathologies which occur relating to digital media and the influence of digital technologies and media on the current generation of adolescents. Research aims to find out how and how much time adolescents spend on the internet and how digital media influence them by using quantitative research.
