Bakalářská práce se zabývá lidovou výchovou v Českých zemích v době formování první Československé republiky. Pracuje s pojmem lidové výchovy, který je dnes téměř zapomenut i přes to, že některé jeho složky byly převzaty do novějších vědních oborů, jako je například adragogika. Práce zkoumá obor lidové výchovy v době jejího největšího rozmachu a zájmu obyvatelstva, který pramenil zvláště z nadšení ze vzniku samostatného Československého státu a touze po sebevzdělávání. Zkoumáním postavení lidové výchovy v Československu lze lépe pochopit, z jakých principů vychází dnešní vzdělávání dospělých a jak se myšlenky lidové výchovy promítly do našeho vnímání československé společnosti. První část bakalářské práce představuje nástin historického vývoje Československé republiky v době jejího vzniku, organizační strukturu veřejné správy v závěru habsburské monarchie a podobu lidové výchovy před rokem 1918. Dále je vymezen pojem lidové výchovy a jeho konkrétní složky. Segment textu je věnován legislativnímu konceptu lidové výchovy a jeho dopadům na reálné zřízení ve státě. Ve druhé části je zkoumáno fungování a organizace ústředního orgánu pro lidovou výchovu, Ministerstva školství a národní osvěty. V posledních dvou kapitolách je rozebrána struktura orgánů spravujících oblast lidové výchovy na úrovni okresů a... This thesis discusses the general education in Czech lands during the formation of the first Czechoslovakian Republic. It introduces the term general education, which is nearly forgotten nowadays, even though several sections of general education are adopted in new science branches, such as andragogy. The thesis describes general education during its biggest expansion and people's interest, which resulted especially from the excitement about the formation of the independent Czechoslovakian country and from people's self-education desires. By researching the position of general education in Czechoslovakia, we can better understand the principles which today's adult education is based on, and how has the ideas of general education reflected in our perception of the Czechoslovakian society. The first part of the thesis introduces an outline of the historical development of Czechoslovakian Republic during its formation, an organisational structure of public administration at the end of the Habsburg Monarchy, and the form of general education before 1918. Next, the term general education and its individual components are defined. One segment of the text discusses the legislative concept of general education and its impact on the actual state's organisation. The second part of the thesis describes the...
