1 Abstrakt Diplomová práce se zabývá prostorovými nerovnostmi v míře vzniku nových firem v Česku. Cílem práce je identifikovat rozdíly v míře vzniku nových firem mezi regiony ORP v období 2010-2016 a zhodnotit, do jaké míry jsou tyto rozdíly způsobené mírou nezaměstnanosti, podílem vysokoškolsky vzdělaných obyvatel, velikostí stávajících firem a indexem specializace. Pro zhodnocení vlivu jednotlivých proměnných bylo využito lineární a geograficky vážené regrese. Z provedené analýzy vyplývá dominantní a pozitivní vliv podílu vysokoškolsky vzdělaných obyvatel, zatímco vysvětlující vliv míry nezaměstnanosti a velikosti stávajících firem na míru vzniku nových firem nebyl potvrzen. Nejsilnější je asociace s podílem vysokoškolsky vzdělaných obyvatel v populačně větších krajských městech. Částečně potvrzený je vliv indexu specializace, výjimku tvoří odvětví priméru, kde nebyl vliv prokázán. Klíčová slova: vznik nových firem, firemní demografie, prostorová diferenciace, geograficky vážená regrese 1 Abstract This thesis deals with spatial variation in formation of new firms in Czechia. The main objective of this work is to identify spatial differentiation among regions in the years 2010-2016. The object is to evaluate, how far are these differences caused by unemployment rate, share of graduates, establishment size and specialization index. The main research methods are linear and geographically weighted regression. Positive and the strongest influence of share of graduates was identified, mainly in the biggest Czech cities and their surroundings. The influence of unemployment rate and establishment size was rejected. Specialization index has significant influence on new firm formation in all sectors but agriculture.
