Na vybraných 20 sesuvech, aktivovaných při extrémních srážkách v červenci r. 1997 v moravské části Západních Karpat, byly studovány vztahy mezi vegetačním krytem a vznikem sesuvů. Bylo zjištěno, že sesuvy vznikají pod rozmanitými vegetačními formacemi lesními i nelesními. Sesuvy výrazně mění ekologické podmínky vegetace, je na ně vázána řada druhů, které se v jejich okolí vyskytují jen výjimečně nebo vůbec. Tyto druhy (např. Equisetum telmateia) je vhodné označovat jako „průvodce sesuvů“ nikoliv jako fytoindikátory. Relationships between landslides and vegetation cover were studied in Moravian part of Western Carpathian Mountains on selected plots which were affected by landslides evoked by extreme floods in July 1997. It was founded that landslides rises under various vegetation formation – forestal and non-forestal as well. Landslides change ecological conditions for vegetation markedly. A number of species are bounded to landslides, e.g. Equisetum telmateia, which is possible to identify like landslides guides, don’t like phytoindicators.
