Bylo zjištěno, že odlišné varianty rychle revertovaly v rámci CCR oblasti. Současně se akumulovaly nové mutace v oblasti P domény, což způsobovalo specifické patogenní efekty na rostlině připomínající "vrabčí hnízda". Tento efekt byl stabilní i po další inokulaci novými mutantními cDNA klony It was found that deviating variants reverted quickly within CCR region. Simultaneously, new mutations accumulated within P-domain that caused specific pathogenesis effect designated "sparrow nest". This effect was stably reproduced after inoculation with this new mutant cDNA clone
