Tato práce se zabývá využitím koncertních a hudebních fotografií k sebeprezentaci českých kapel na čím dál tím populárnější sociální síti Instagram. Práce se tak věnuje třem oblíbeným oblastem, kterými jsou fotografie a vizualita, hudba a propagace na sociálních sítích. Práce se věnuje historickému vývoji koncertní fotografie a jejích předchůdců, krátce představí nejdůležitější osobnosti, jež koncertní fotografii formovaly, jako byl například Jim Marshall nebo Annie Leibovitz, ale věnovat se bude i současným trendům v oblasti zachycování hudby pomocí fotografie. Pro lepší porozumění interpretaci výsledků praktické části se práce věnuje rovněž vývoji Instagramu od jeho počátku až do současnosti, jeho funkčním prvkům a specifikům jeho využití pro vlastní prezentaci. Praktická část práce se zaměřuje na konkrétní vybrané české kapely, konkrétně kapely Kryštof, Mandrage a Chinaski, a způsoby jejich komunikace na Instagramu, především vytyčuje oblasti v nichž se kapely liší a v nichž si jsou jejich způsoby komunikace naopak podobné. Největší důraz v této části práce klade na význam sebeprezentace jednotlivých interpretů a na odezvu recipientů jejich sdělení. This thesis concentrates on concert and music photography and the ability of Czech bands to apply these photographs into their communication on Instagram. Thus, the thesis focuses on three major topics of growing popularity, which are photography and the visuality itself, music, and self-promotion on social media. First part the thesis introduces history of concert and music photography and also mentions some of the current trends in this specific photographic genre. To better understand the interpretation of the practical part of the thesis, the work also focuses on introducing Instagram's history, its functional features and ways of self-promotion through the visual social media site itself. The last part of the thesis is focused on the research itself. This part the thesis will examine specific ways of self-promotion of Czech bands on Instagram and will focus on differences and similarities of their communication through photography.
