(abstrakt) Hlavním cílem této diplomové práce je pojednání o fenoménu módních blogů, zakotvení jejich funkce a přínosu k českému diskurzu o módě. Mapován je vývoj blogů jako technologického fenoménu s masovým rozšířením internetu a jejich rozvoj. Na základě rešerše literatury zabývající se módou a komunikací v médiích je zkoumána povaha blogů a jejich místo mezi tradičními médii, jakými jsou tisk, televize nebo rádio. Zkoumána je také motivace, která vede blogery k tvorbě blogů, a výsledky, které jim úspěšné vedení blogu přináší. Vzhledem k tomu, že je módní průmysl postaven na komunikaci trendů a následném prodeji produktů, jež lze označit za módní, zabývá se práce rovněž proměnou využívání médií k tomuto účelu. V návaznosti na to je zkoumán vztah mezi blogováním a žurnalistikou, respektive módními magazíny, a povaha reklamy, která je v nich umístěná. Výzkumná část potom ověřuje teorii v praxi českého diskurzu o módě. Součástí jsou rozhovory s předními tuzemskými blogery, u kterých je zkoumána jejich motivace pro kontinuální tvorbu jejich blogu. The main objective of this master thesis is to discuss the phenomenon of fashion blogs and exploring its features and benefits for the Czech discourse about fashion. The evolution of blogging as a technological phenomenon with mass expansion of the internet and its development is mapped by researching respective literature that deals with fashion and its communication in the media, besides that there is also explored the nature of blogs and their place among traditional media such as print, television or radio. The research would not be complete without proper examination of the motivation that leads to the formation of blogs and of course results of such blogging that can be considered successful. Given that the fashion industry is built on communication of trends and subsequent sales of products that can be described as fashionable, the work aims to deal with the transformation in use of media for this purpose. Following that there is then examined the relationship between blogging and journalism, respectively fashion magazines and the nature of advertising, which is inevitably included in the fashion industry.
