Tématem bakalářské práce je Margaret Thatcherová a její vztah vůči odborovému hnutí ve Velké Británii. Bakalářská práce zahrnuje celkový vývoj této političky Konzervativní strany i vývoj odborů. Zároveň byla provedena základní analýza konfliktů s odbory během vlády ministerské předsedkyně. Přitom Thatcherová osobně zasahovala pouze výjimečně do problémů jednotlivých státních podniků. Práce zmiňuje legislativu zaměřenou proti odborovým organizacím a další opatření, která omezila moc odborového hnutí. Samostatnou kapitolu tvoří hornická stávka. Tato stávka svým rozsahem a průběhem předčila všechny ostatní. V neposlední řadě je v práci analyzována hospodářská politika Margaret Thatcherové a její dopad na britskou ekonomiku. In this thesis, my task is the analysis of Margaret Thatcherʼs relations to the trade union movement in the United Kingdom. The thesis includes the analysis of the overall development of the Conservative Party politician and of the development of unions. It also includes a basic analysis of conflicts with unions during the government of Thatcher. Nevertheless Thatcher personally intervened only exceptionally to problems of individual state enterprises. The thesis analyses the legislation aimed against trade unions and other measures that limited the power of the trade union movement. In a separate chapter I deal minersʼ strike. This strike in its scope and course surpassed all others. Finally, the thesis analyses the economic policy of Margaret Thatcher and its impact on the British economy.
