V teoretické části práce bylo pojednáno o paměti a jejím testování, paradigmatu kontrolovaného ukládání a vybavení s vodítky, Alzheimerově nemoci a vaskulární demenci. Cílem práce bylo prozkoumat souvislost změn bílé hmoty a atrofie hipokampů s výkonem v Enhanced Cued Recall testu. Při použití parciálních neparametrických korelací s kontrolou proměnných věku a Fazekase byly nalezeny středně silné statisticky významné korelace objemu pravého a levého hipokampu se skórem spontánního a celkového vybavení. Korelace skóru Fazekase se skóry testu ECR při kontrole proměnných věku, objemu pravého a objemu levého hipokampu nebyly signifikantní. Klíčová slova: atrofie hipokampů, změny bílé hmoty, vybavení s vodítky, ECR Memory structure, memory assessment, Grober-Buschke paradigm, Alzheimer disease, and vascular dementia were discussed in the first part of the present thesis. Present study aims to examine the relationship between white matter changes, hippocampal atrophy and the performance in Enhanced Cued Recall test in nondemented geriatric population (n = 104). Partial neparametric correlations were used while controlling for age and Fazekas score. Medium correlations were found between left/right hippocampal volumes and free and total recall.
