Práce se zabývá různými možnostmi měření zvládání zátěže. V teoretické části jsou nastíněny základní teoretické konstrukty zabývající se zvládáním zátěže, které zároveň souvi- sejí i s předkládaným inventářem Dotazník zvládání zátěže. Dále jsou zde představeny další metody měření zvládání zátěže. Na závěr teoretické části je pak představen samotný Dotazník zvládání zátěže. Empirická část je pak věnována jednak zjištění základních psychometrických charak- teristik inventáře a analýze vhodnosti implementace specifických norem pro různé demogra- fické skupiny. Druhá studie v rámci empirické části se zabývá konvergentní validitou metody s jinými zavedenými inventáři. Výsledky naznačují, že inventář je validní metodou měření zvládání zátěže, ačkoli jsou některé jeho škály zatíženy sociální desirabilitou. V závěru práce jsou uvedena doporuče- ní pro vylepšení metody. Klíčová slova: stres, zvládání stresu, psychodiagnostika This work investigates various methods for measurement of stress coping. Theoretical part introduces basic theoretical constructs that deal with stress coping which are also related to the presented Stress coping questionnaire inventory. Other methods for measurement of stress coping are also discussed. The end of the theoretical part introduces the Stress coping questionnaire itself. Empirical part establishes the basic psychometric characteristics of the inventory and analyses suitability of implementation of specific norms for various demographic groups. Se- cond study within the empirical part investigates convergent validity of the method against other inventories. The results indicate that the inventory is a valid method for measurement of stress coping, although some of its scales are affected by social desirability. Recommendations for improvements of the method are mentioned in the end of the work. Keywords: stress, stress coping, psychodiagnostics
