Karel Poláček, prozaik, v soudobé reflexi díla Muži v ofsajdu je bakalářská práce pojednávající o osobě Karla Poláčka v kontextu jeho prozaické tvorby, ale zaměřuje se především na Poláčkovo dílo Muži v ofsajdu, které knižně vyšlo roku 1931. V první části se bakalářská práce zabývá prozaickými díly autora, ve druhé části pak pojednává o románu Muži v ofsajdu a v poslední, nejrozsáhlejší části se věnuje soudobé literární kritice tohoto díla. Cílem této práce je představit autora, který svým dílem Muži v ofsajdu zobrazil život fotbalových fanoušků ve 30. letech 20. století, a nabídnout pohled tehdejší literární kritiky na tuto knihu. The aim of this thesis is to introduce this author who wrote Men in Offside and who pictured lives of the football fans in the thirties of the twenty century.
