Biogeochemický cyklus chloru, zvláště tvorba organicky vázaného chloru, není doposud příliš prozkoumán. V kontinentálních ekosystémech jsou chloridy významné nejen jako zdroj chloru, ale také jako stresový faktor. Chloridy pocházejí ze srážek, z oblačnosti tvořené nad mořem. Organicky vázaný chlor je v životním prostředí tvořen biotickou i abiotickou cestou. Biotickými faktory jsou mikroorganismy, rostliny, půdní enzymy a živočichové. Jednu skupinu organicky vázaného chloru představují těkavé chlorované uhlovodíky. Některé těkavé chlorované uhlovodíky reagují s atmosférickým ozonem, následkem čehož je rozklad ozonové vrstvy. Nejvýznamnějším pevninským zdrojem těkavých halogenovaných uhlovodíků je ekosystém smrkového lesa. Chloridy v půdě se mohou pomocí mikroorganismů přeměňovat na organicky vázaný chlor, nebo putují transpiračními proudy v rostlinách, kde jsou také enzymaticky přeměňovány na organicky vázaný chlor, oba pak mohou být emitovány do atmosféry. Přílišné množství chloridů však může negativně ovlivnit fyziologické funkce rostlin. V rámci této práce byly navrženy pokusy k naměření přirozených emisí těkavých halogenovaných uhlovodíků z rostlin a hub, s různě dlouhými dobami inkubace a také ověření vlivu přídavku chloridů na halogenační procesy. Nejprve byla ověřena vhodnost analytické... Biogeochemical cycle of chlorine, particularly the formation of organically bound chlorine is still not well understood. In continental ecosystems chlorides act as source of chlorine, and also as a stress factor. Chlorides originate from precipitation of marine cloud masses. Organically bound chlorine in the environment is formed naturally by biotical and abiotical way. The biotical factors are microorganisms, plants, soil enzymes and animals. Volatile chlorinated hydrocarbons (VOCl) represent one group of organically bound chlorines. Several volatile chlorinated hydrocarbons reacts with atmospheric ozone, consequently causing depletion of the ozone layer. The most important known terrestrial source of volatile chlorinated hydrocarbons is the spruce forest ecosystem. Chlorine in the soil can be transformed by microorganisms into organically bound chlorine or translocated by transpiration stream in plants, where they are also transformed enzymatically into organically bound chlorine, and both of them can be emitted into the atmosphere.
