Tato diplomová práce se zabývá zobrazením protestu v oficiálním periodiku české Anarchistické federace. Zaměřuje se přitom na takové protestní strategie, které se přímo promítají na úroveň životního stylu jednotlivce. S těmito praktikami souvisí problém devalvace obsahu anarchistického programu a větší akcent na formu aktivit nežli jejich obsah. Práce tedy na příkladu anarchistické revue Existence zkoumá, jak je tato praxe diskurzivně uchopena v českém prostředí a zda v důsledku důrazu na partikulární životní styl dochází k formování normativního, skupinou vyžadovaného ideálu sociální identity. Na teoretické rovině práce zachycuje, jakým způsobem bývá protest zobrazen v mainstreamových sdělovacích prostředcích. Proti tomu klade alternativní média coby nástroj vymezení se proti dominantní mediální praxi. Za pomoci diskurzivní analýzy založené na lingvistickém přístupu Normana Fairclougha pak text zkoumá styčné plochy oné alternativy a mainstreamu. Analýza se přitom zaměřuje především na moderní protestní taktiky anarchistického hnutí, politizaci každodenního života, její vnímání v rámci hnutí a možné výše naznačené dopady na širší anarchistický program. The diploma thesis focuses on representation of protest in the official periodical of Czech Anarchist federation. It looks into the protest strategies which influence the level of personal lifestyle of an individual. This practice is connected to the issue of devaluation of the anarchist programme and more prominent emphasis on the form of the activities rather than the content. On the example of anarchist review Existence the thesis investigates how the practice is treated at the discursive level in Czech context. It poses a question whether the accent of a particular lifestyle results in shaping a required normative ideal of social identity. At the theoretical level, the thesis reflects how mainstream media tend to represent protest events. Simultaneously, it describes alternative media as the instrument to oppose the dominant media practice. Using the method of discourse analysis based on Norman Fairclough's linguistic approach, the text looks into the similarities between the mainstream and the alternative. The analysis focuses especially on modern tactics of the anarchist movement, politicization of everyday life, reflection of these phenomena within the movement and possible above-mentioned impact on the anarchist programme.
