Tato bakalářská práce zkoumá volnou kresbu dětí mladšího školního věku, především z hlediska motivů a témat kreseb, dále pak pojetí, frekvenci a oblibu spontánní kresby. Bylo vybráno 10 zástupců této generace, kteří navštěvují 2. třídu základní školy. Na základě nakreslených obrázků, jež děti kreslily mimo školu, a následně provedených rozhovorů s dětmi, kterých jsem se dotazovala na konkrétní výtvarné projevy, detaily kreslení a dílčí informace týkající se kresby. Byla tak posouzena a zmapována situace volné kresby dětí raně školního věku. Při analýze vybraných kreseb se zaměřuji především na kategorie jednotlivých témat, které vzešly z vytvořených obrázků, výskyt konkrétních motivů a jejich procentuální zastoupení jak u všech dětí, tak s ohledem na pohlaví. V práci je naznačena také skutečnost, do jaké míry se v kresbách odráží současná doba moderních technologií. Ukázalo se, že respondenti ve svých výtvorech nejčastěji zobrazují přírodní motivy, zejména pak zvířata. Výsledky dále ukazují, že frekvence a atraktivita kresby dětí mladšího školního věku je navzdory nástupu do školy a moderní době poměrně vysoká. KLÍČOVÁ SLOVA Volná kresba, mladší školní věk, motivy a témata kresby In this thesis freehand drawings of middle school children were analyzed. The main focus was on motifs and themes. Then the conception, frequency and popularity of spontaneous drawings were examined. In this case study ten representatives from second grade were selected and interviewed about their after-school drawings. Subjects were asked about the specific artistic expressions, the details and the sectional facts of their drawings. Thus the freehand drawing conditions in young children were evaluated. I focused mainly on the categories of individual topics of the drawings, the occurrence of a specific motif and their percentages in both the whole group and in the gender subgroups. Further it is indicated there is an influence of modern technology on children's drawings. The study shows the most common themes are motifs of nature especially animals. Despite of school duties and modern age the frequency and the popularity of freehand drawing is relatively high among young school children.
