This thesis deals with the issues of information architecture for the web sites. It is not just a theoretical approach to a problem, but also an approach to a specific practical problem. Information architecture focuses directly on the Web headquarters of the National Archives. A summary of theoretical knowledge in the field of information architecture for the web site is part of the thesis. In addition, there is also a huge part of information analysis, which is based on design information architecture for a particular web site. Diplomová práca sa venuje problematike informačnej architektúry pre oblasť webových sídel. Nejde len o teoretické ponímanie problému, ale súčasťou diplomovej práce sa rieši aj konkrétny problém v praxi. Informačná architektúra sa venuje priamo webovému sídlu Národního archivu. Súčasťou diplomovej práce je zhrnutie teoretických poznatkov v oblasti informačnej architektúry pre webové sídlo. Okrem toho je tam aj obrovská časť informačnej analýzy, o ktorú sa opiera návrh informačnej architektúry pre konkrétne webové sídlo.
